Hear what Inspire(d) boot campers say about us!

I started boot camp back in March and I'm loving it.  Amazing workouts every week. Challenging, encouraging, supportive and fun environment! I love how they mix it up, NOT the same old boring workout day after day, week after week! Three amazing trainers share their strengths, each bringing something unique to their workouts!  You've got to come and try it, but beware you'll LOVE it!I've not just lost pounds but inches too and I'm gaining amazing strength!  It feels so great to be lean, fit and STRONG! Joanna T.

Joy, Tina, and Ramona are great coaches who provide different butt-kicking workouts each and every morning.  I think what I value most about Inspire boot camp is that from the moment I first began, Joy, Tina, and Ramona learned my name, knew my strengths and weaknesses, and the other women in the group made an effort to get to know me as well. There was no chance I was going to slog along in the back row anonymously!

I have been challenged, motivated, and truly supported to stay on the path of fitness.  I've been especially appreciative of the boot camp "challenge" which provides unlimited workouts, progress tracking, and tons of tips and pointers around food and fitness during the holiday months of November and December.

I highly recommend this boot camp for any woman in the Hayward/Castro Valley area who wants a supportive, challenging, and fun workout environment!

The only exercise I get out of bed at 5:15 am for!  A variety of workouts mix up your muscles but the coaches all have one thing in common - helping you become stronger and healthier!

The trainers at Inspire Fitness are wonderful and caring women who make working out fun and rewarding. I decided to go for the 6 am sessions in Castro Valley; and even though I am not a morning person, I am getting great value out of starting my day with a good workout. It is great to have  Joy, Tina, and Ramona as instructors. I love that they vary the workouts so it is never boring, and working out outside in a group with other women is so fun! This is so much better than going to the gym!

I started with Joy and Tina and Ramona in October, and have been a part of a 60-day challenge since November. This is a great workout team! As a fitness junkie, I've workout out in many local gyms and boot camps. I have been impressed with the intensity and variety of the Inspire workouts. Boxing, interval training, circuits, dragging sandbags and tug of war....They are some of the most effective 45 minutes I've ever spent working out!

If you are in a fitness rut and need to shake things up, give Inspire Fitness a try! Kelly M.

What a great bootcamp!  Every work out is different but effective.  The coaches are truly inspiring and keep us coming back.  Their support goes beyond the 45 minute workout to include daily motivation and information on getting fit, staying fit and living healthy while having fun!  For me it's been such a great experience - I've gotten much stronger, lost weight and inches and have learned some great healthy habits.  I highly recommend! A great group of women, inspiring, friendly and motivating.  You get a kick-ass workout that always changes.  you never know what is coming until you get there which makes it exciting.  The challenge feels great!  Ramona gives self-defense lessons that truly inspire confidence.  Joy motivates and Tina kicks butts with her accumulators and such. Definitely try them out! Jennifer J.

I started doing bootcamp in the beginning of August, 2009. I have so far lost 10 pounds, 5.25% of body fat and two sizes down. That means I have lose inches around my body. My goal is to be tone, to be strong, fit and healthy. But my primary reason for doing bootcamp is to improve my sports in running. This has proven to be correct when I finished two half marathons for October, 2009.

I have always been an active person, but in the past few years I have been frustrated with the lack of results of my workouts.  I started Inspire Fitness Boot camps in June 2009 looking for a fun and challenging workout.  What I got was a wonderful coach in Joy Poulsen!  Joy is knowledgeable, tough, supportive and fun!!   Every Boot camp is different and challenging - I still feel every workout the next day. Joy  has pushed me well beyond what I thought I was I capable of accomplishing.  I am stronger than I have been in 20 years and have dropped a dress size too.  Don't be concerned about not being able to keep up - Joy is an expert at adjusting the workouts for every fitness.
But the best thing about Inspire Fitness Boot camps is the support and camaraderie of the wonderful women who I workout next to me every week!  Give Inspire Fitness Bootcamps a try it will literally change your life!!

I have been attending Inspire Fitness since December. Joy runs a great work out and makes it different every time.  One day you may find yourself working on your kickboxing technique but doing yoga the next. Her circuit training kicks our butts in the best way possible. We huff n puff our way through the workout but there are always accommodations for different levels.  You can kick it up a notch or slow it down. Whatever you do you are bound to get a nice workout.

The women in the classes are always friendly and the classes are not too full.

If you commit to going for 6 months you get a discount, though you only pay a month at a time.  It's a good way to make sure you are attend.  I have never worked out in my life (read NEVER) until August of last year.   Thanks to my initial few months of working with a personal  trainer (got too expensive way too fast) and finding Joy I feel like this is not just a fad for me but a life style change. On the days I am not with Inspire Fitness I am going on a hike with a friend and am currently contemplating a 5K run in the spring.

Thanks Inspire Fitness for inspiring me to get in shape and stay that way! Zoya

I have been fortunate to participate in various programs offered by Inspire Fitness, and have loved them all.  Truly designed by and for women.  The opportunity to take your fitness program outdoors and try new ways of using your muscles is fabulous. You will not miss the neon lights and intimidating atmosphere of those big club/gyms, and in fact may never go back after exercising with Inspire Fitness!  If you have any issues with previous injury or limitations, you'll love the personal attention and modifications offered to help you get the most of your workout.  As an added bonus, you'll find that you make new friends within the group of ladies you're with.  If you're ready to put the focus on getting stronger and fitter, this program is for you.

Being a retired warrant officer from the Army the sound of boot camp caught my eye. Even though I did my last boot camp in 1957 Joys positive attitude that with modifications of the variety of exercises offered that I could meet my fitness level. Having the training out doors was a great change from being inside a gym.   Joy inspired me to do my best along with my comrades cheering each other on. I could feel myself becoming stronger each week and the end results had shown me boot camp did make a difference.   Boot camp is a motivating exercise program, try it, you won't be sorry.

I think you are doing a terrific job!!!  Each class there's a new focus and you're very creative ways add fun and variety to the class!!!  If I were to do this over again, I would sign up for 3 times a week & would want it to extend beyond 4 weeks!!!  And yes, I do feel that my upper body is stronger...my natural strength has always been my legs BUT even they are hurting after classes!!!
Thank you again!!!  My plan for the remaining sessions is to keep pushing myself around the core stuff!!
